Zach and Caitlin left Colorado on a nonstop flight at 11:40 AM on Friday, June 19, headed for Japan. They were in the bulkhead seats, essentially the first class of economy.
Sarah flew in from New York, and Ashley flew in from San Francisco. They were both in first class, which is the version without the economy asterisk.
Most of the day was travel: airport, boarding, and the long flight across the Pacific. Arrival in Japan would be the next afternoon local time.
